About St. Kitts and Nevis

St. Kitts is an island in the Caribbean and together with Nevis make up the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. St. Kitts is in close proximity to Puerto Rico and the other islands in the northern part of the Caribbean chain. St. Kitts has a population of 35,000. The capital of St. Kitts is Basseterre and is also the main commercial area of the island. Nevis the sister island of St. Kitts is located a few miles away from St. Kitts. The islands share the same government, constitution and currency.
